ARMENIAN–TURKMEN BUSINESS FORUM IN YEREVAN
The Armenian–Turkmen Business Forum held on January 15 at the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UMBA) aimed to discuss prospects for economic cooperation between Armenia and Turkmenistan and to promote the development of bilateral interaction.

I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year.
The coming year, 2026, is a jubilee year for the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia: it marks the 30th anniversary of the organization’s establishment.
The program “UMBA for the Green Transition: Institutional Capacity Building and Leadership in the Implementation of ESG Policy” has been launched.
The Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia has launched the program “UMBA for the Green Transition: Institutional Capacity Building and Leadership in the Implementation of ESG Policy”, funded by the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark within the framework of the “New Democracy Fund” initiative.

Although in recent years our economy has seen major changes in terms of competition, certain issues still remain, some of which are, to an extent, objective. This view was expressed by Arsen Ghazaryan, President of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia, during the panel discussion held on November 21 as part of the World Bank Office’s presentation of the first “Armenia: Country Economic Update” report.
Prospects for Deepening Business Relations Between Armenia and Dubai Discussed
The prospects for further deepening business relations between Armenian and Dubai entrepreneurs were discussed during a meeting between Mr. Nerses Karamanukyan, Vice President of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UIBA), and Mr. Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of the Dubai Chambers, held on October 23 at the Armenia Marriott Hotel in Yerevan.
In Yerevan, the 24th international exhibition forum “ARMENIA EXPO 2025” has kicked off.
Around two hundred companies from seven countries are participating in the forum, which opened on September 5 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The exhibition, jointly organized by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and the LOGOS EXPO Center, features companies from Armenia, Iran, Russia, China, the UAE, Kazakhstan, and Estonia presenting their products and services.
Armenia–Iraq Business Forum to give new impetus to bilateral economic cooperation
On August 26, following the fourth session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Iraq, held in Yerevan, a number of documents were signed, including a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UMBA) and the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce.
Free Legal Assistance Provided to 108 Forcibly Displaced Individuals with Support from the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia
With the support of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UMBA), the Armenian Lawyers’ Association (ALA) has provided free legal consultations to 108 forcibly displaced persons within the framework of the “Protection of the Rights of Armenians from Artsakh” program, implemented from February to August 2025.
