FOR THE 22ND TIME, THE ARMPROD EXPO 2024 INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION HAS OPENED ITS DOORS
On October 18, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan, the ArmProd EXPO 2024 international specialized exhibition opened for the 22nd time, bringing together over 100 companies from Armenia, Russia, Germany, and Estonia.
“For 22 years, the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia, together with Logos Expo Center, has been gathering production, processing, and service-providing companies in the food sector under one roof, which is a significant step toward making our country self-sufficient in terms of food security,” noted Arsen Ghazaryan, President of the Union. In his assessment, there are already sectors and companies that not only meet the needs of the Armenian market but are also taking bold steps toward exporting. According to Ghazaryan, one of the notable features of this year’s exhibition is the large number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) participating, who are showcasing their products and services and looking to find new markets and partners.
“This exhibition is an important platform for raising the visibility of domestic products, creating and forming new connections,” stated Marta Hovhannisyan, Head of the Food Security Systems Development Department at the Ministry of Economy of Armenia. Wishing success to the participants, she expressed hope that Armenian producers would be able to present themselves on other platforms as well, opening new paths for further progress and development.
In addition to a wide variety of food industry exhibits, the exhibition also features three separate sections dedicated to alcoholic beverages, honey production, and dried fruits.
The exhibition will run until October 20.
