Armenia to have export insurance company

An export financing insurance company needs to be established in Armenia.

To this end, a working team comprising fifteen members will be set up at the Ministry of Economy. The members will receive a monthly salary of 500,000 drams (approx. $1,230), and they will be responsible for all the preparations toward founding this insurance company.

And to bring this project to fruition, the Ministry asked for 41,300,000 drams (approx. $101,425) from the Government of Armenia.

The respective draft decision is included in the agenda of Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.
