The delegation led by the Commissioner for the Protection of Businessmen's Rights of Moscow was hosted at the UMBA

On 17th of August the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia hosted the group of representatives of public institutions representing the interests of various sectors of the economy of the Russian Federation, headed by Tatyana Minaeva, Commissioner for the Protection of Businessmen’s Rights of the City of Moscow.

Welcoming the guests and highlighting similar meetings, Vice-President of the UMBA Nerses Karamanukyan, presented the directions of the Union’s activities, the features of the protection of businessmen’s interests, the existing platforms for cooperation with other similar public structures and dialogue with the executive and legislative authorities.

Tatyana Minaeva gave an introduction to the legal foundations of the institute, the mechanisms, the legal structures, and the role played by the structure in the law-making process.

Sergey Mironov, public commissioner in the field of restaurant business, vice president of the Russian Federation of Restaurateurs and Hotel Owners, presented a number of initiatives implemented in their field and the toolkit for their promotion, in the case of their implementation, an unprecedented growth recorded in the field. As a successful private example, he cited the precedent of exempting VAT for restaurants.

Vitaly Arbuzov, Public Commissioner for Information Technologies and Digitization, Ekaterina Yeryomina, Head of the Public Reception Office of the Commissioner for Development of Truck Transport and Interregional Cargo Transport, spoke about the effectiveness of their close cooperation with the commissioner for the protection of businessmen’s rights and the activities of public structures in the fields of information technology, cargo transportation, construction, trade networks, Eduard Bugrov, managing partner of the “GSL INVEST” management company, at the public reception of the Commissioner of the Commercial Real Estate Industry and Leasing Oleg Klimov, head of the office, president of the Union of Trade Centers of Russia spoke about the activity of public institutions in the fields of information technology, cargo transportation, construction, trade networks and the effectiveness of their close cooperation with the commissioner for the protection of businessmen’s rights.

At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Moscow Regional department of the All-Russian NGO “Business Women” and the Union of Women Employers of Yerevan and neighboring regions.
