New Year’s Message from Arsen Ghazaryan, President of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia

Dear colleagues, dear compatriots,

I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year.

The coming year, 2026, is a jubilee year for the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia: it marks the 30th anniversary of the organization’s establishment. For three decades, remaining true to its mission, the Union has been at the forefront of protecting the interests of the business community, establishing a stable and predictable business environment, shaping a favorable legal framework, and presenting the country’s economic potential abroad in the best possible way. Thanks to our joint efforts, it has been possible to form and develop sustainable traditions of Armenian entrepreneurship, introduce advanced technologies and innovative thinking into the economy, and create numerous jobs. Through our activities, regular dialogue between the state and the private sector has been established, many social issues have found solutions, and charity has become an integral culture accompanying economic activity.

In today’s rapidly changing times, events unfold at great speed, while informational, technological, and geopolitical conditions change on a daily basis, bringing with them both challenges and new opportunities. I am confident that Armenian entrepreneurial thought and capability will continue to be able to overcome emerging difficulties with dignity, and to channel newly created opportunities toward the advancement of our country’s economy and the expansion of overall prosperity.
