Economy Minister: Armenian businessmen are no less patriotic

Armenian Economy Minister said local businessmen are no less patriotic.

His remark came in response to the statement Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan who gave businessmen time until July 1 to pass to the fair play rules.

“Business people realize that changes in economic and legal relations are necessary for economy development,” Minister Karen Chshmarityan told reporters.

Asked what will happen if business refuses to obey the rules, the Minister said: “I think you know it”.

The effect of new rules may not result so much in increase in budget revenues, but increase in effective demand, which always creates benefits for the economy, he said.
