Armenia made progress in tourism competitiveness report – PM

The World Economic Forum on Wednesday issued its tourism competitiveness report, where Armenia is ranked 79th from among 140 countries, Premier Tigran Sargsyan stated during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

In his words, Armenia improved its position by eleven points as compared to the previous year.

Also, Armenia’s PM commissioned Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan to analyze this report, present Armenia’s strengths and weaknesses, and make recommendations to improve the situation.
