“Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals EXPO 2023” was opened in Yerevan

The 21st International Specialized Medical Exhibition “Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals EXPO 2023” was opened on November 3 at the Yerevan EXPO exhibition complex. The goal of the Exhibition is the presentation of medical products and services and establishment of new business relations. The exhibition is organized by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and the LOGOS EXPO center and will run until November 5.

According to the general director of LOGOS EXPO center Suren Nazinyan, 80 companies representing Armenia, the Russian Federation, Italy and Belarus took part in the exhibition. The main thematic sections are preventive medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, diagnostics, clinical medicine, medical and laboratory equipment, motherhood and childhood, hygiene etc.

According to Anna Donchenko, head of the trade representation of the Russian Federation in Armenia, Russian companies represent Moscow and the Moscow Region. According to her, in 2022 about 163 million dollars of pharmaceutical products were imported from Russia to Armenia. Anna Donchenko expressed hope that the exhibition will provide an opportunity to form new business ties and sign new contracts.
