
"Global Innovation Center" is the representative of the National innovation and scientific and technical foundations of Iran and has been permanently operating in Armenia for the last six months.

The perspective of development of Armenian-Russian business relations and risk management related issues were discussed on December 7 at the discussion organized by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia.


The Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Investment Council of Armenia.


The perspectives of deepening the Armenian-Lithuanian cooperation in the field of textile industry were discussed during the business forum held on November 16 in Yerevan. Within the framework of the "Green Textile for Sustainable Economy of Europe" program implemented by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and the Association of Apparel and Textile Industry of Lithuania, representatives of a dozen companies from the light industry sector of Armenia paid a familiarization visit to the Republic of Lithuania on October 8-15.


About a dozen companies of the textile sector of Armenia were presented with a separate unified pavilion at the "Made in Lithuania" economic exhibition organized in Kaunas on October 7-9.


President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan had a meeting with the President of the Union of Industrialists and Businessmen of Armenia Arsen Ghazaryan and the Deputy President of the Union Nerses Karamanukyan on September 30.


On 20th of April Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and the China Foreign Trade Center, according to which the parties intend to promote mutually beneficial business relations and expand long-term cooperation, joint projects, in particular, China Import and Export Fair organization (Canton Fair). The document was signed by Arsen Ghazaryan, President of the UMBA from the Armenian side, and Ye JiJiang, Deputy Director General of the China Foreign Trade Center, Deputy Secretary General of the Canton Fair, from the Chinese side.


The Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and the China Foreign Trade Center have signed a cooperation agreement, on assistance of the organization and awareness of the China Import-Export Fair known as Canton Fair.
